English Support Teacher Primary

As part of our dedicated Support & Inclusion Team you will work together with the English Support Coordinators, the EAL Coordinator and other Support Staff to plan and deliver one to one or small group lessons to target the individual needs of the pupils. This will take place either in class or through withdrawal sessions in our English Section.

• Working pattern: 0.4 FTE (maternity cover from the start of September 2026 until the end of January 2027, exact dates to be confirmed)
• Salary LB: 3622€ to 5520€ per month on a full-time contract

• Fully qualified teacher status to teach in Primary Education, in the country the qualification is obtained, approved by DUO.
• If you completed your studies in the UK/Ireland: you have been awarded QTS/SFR or equivalent and have successfully completed -or are exempt from- the statutory induction period
• Living in the Netherland with a working permit

• Experience with meeting the individual needs of the pupils: SEMH skills/knowledge
• Experience in international or intercultural education
• Experience working with EAL pupils
• Innovative and versatile with good organisational skills
• Active contribution to school development in general
• Excellent social and communication skills
• Good team player
• Knowledge of other EU languages is an advantage

• We offer a salary aligned with the Dutch Collective Labour Agreement (CAO PO). The salary is a minimum of €3622 and a maximum of €5520 for a full-time contract on the LB scale and the step offered will depend on your level of experience.
