Published: 15th March 2026 Gas Engineer Permanent West Midlands Social Housing & Property Services, Trades & Labour Overview Gas Engineer – Voids (Temporary) Location: Birmingham Rate: £22–£25 per hour Contract: Temporary – 12 weeks Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm The Role We’re recruiting a temporary Gas Engineer to support void properties in Birmingham. You’ll be carrying out cooker point alterations and radiator relocations, delivering safe, efficient work to a high standard within agreed timescales. This is a fast-paced role suited to an experienced engineer confident working independently and achieving first-time fixes. Key Requirements Gas Safe registered CCN1 / CEN1 (current) Full UK driving licence Experience working in void or social housing properties preferred What’s Offered Competitive hourly rate, company van and fuel card, PPE provided, Monday–Friday working hours, and the opportunity to extend or move into longer-term work.
