Part-Time Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) – KS1
Tidworth (North of Salisbury)
£90–£93 per day
Start Date: September 2026
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school resource base in Tidworth. This role involves providing 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs within KS1 (EYFS, Year 1 & Year 2).
About the Role:
Supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis within the classroom/ resource base
Assisting with learning activities tailored to individual needs
Promoting a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Working closely with teaching staff and SEN professionals
Support the child transition into school
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with young children, particularly those with additional needs, is desirable
Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passionate about making a difference in a child’s educational journey

Requirements:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
