About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join the East Herts Older People Team in Hertfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults within our community. The role offers a competitive rate of £34 per hour on an Umbrella basis, allowing you to utilize your expertise in a supportive and dynamic environment.
As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for various key duties, including:
Assessing the needs of older individuals and their families, ensuring a person-centered approach.
Developing and implementing care plans that promote independence and well-being.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to provide comprehensive support.
Managing a caseload effectively while adhering to statutory guidelines and local policies.
Providing guidance and support to family members and caregivers, enhancing their understanding of available resources.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
Registration with Social Work England.
Proven experience working with older adults in a social work capacity.
Strong assessment and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
