About the role:

Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher for a full time, short-term position starting in September 2026 at a friendly primary school in the Haslingden area.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum for Year 4 pupils
• Use assessment effectively to monitor attainment and inform planning
• Create a positive classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence
• Differentiate learning activities to meet a range of abilities and needs
• Support pupils in developing strong literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills
• Encourage positive behaviour and a growth mindset towards learning
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and classroom management

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching within KS2, preferably Year 4
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment practices
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Enhanced DBS clearance
