Part time Teaching Assistant - Preston

About the role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant, who is looking for a long term role in a Primary school in the Preston area on a part time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.

A friendly and nurturing primary school dedicated to creating a positive learning environment where children feel valued, supported and inspired to succeed.

• Supervise pupils before and after school
• Organise fun and engaging activities
• Support positive behaviour management
• Ensure children’s safety and wellbeing
• Assist with healthy snack provision
• Build positive relationships with pupils
• Encourage social interaction and teamwork
• Follow safeguarding procedures
• Set up and tidy activity areas
• Liaise with school staff and parents

Pre-requisites:

• Previous UK school experience
• Experience working with children
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the update service preferred
