<p>The <strong>Demand Operations Analyst</strong> based in Marlborough, MA, will play a key role in generating accurate demand projections to facilitate supply chain planning, optimize inventory, and inform strategic business decisions. By analyzing past data, market patterns, promotional activities, and customer feedback, this position will create dependable demand forecasts that enable the organization to efficiently balance supply and demand. Leveraging cutting-edge forecasting tools and internal procedures, the role will cultivate and sustain demand projections to guide production and procurement directives, supporting high service standards while bolstering the expansion of S&OP practices across both our food service and retail sectors. The position will necessitate cross-functional interaction with all plant departments to align schedules, customer service, sales, marketing, and financial initiatives for maximum impact. This is an in-person role and will require 100% onsite presence.</p>

<p><strong>Primary responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Formulate, cultivate, and enhance short-, mid-, and long-term demand predictions</li>
<li>Analyze historical sales data, seasonal trends, and market dynamics</li>
<li>Adjust and refine forecasts based on feedback from sales and marketing teams</li>
<li>Develop and implement strategies to enhance forecast accuracy</li>
<li>Address demand-related challenges promptly and effectively</li>
<li>Collaborate with Procurement department to rectify supply-related issues</li>
<li>Demonstrate advanced analytical skills and expertise in forecasting methodologies</li>
<li>Lead or participate in S&OP meetings</li>
<li>Deliver forecast updates, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders</li>
<li>Partner with supply planning to ensure alignment with demand projections</li>
<li>Coordinate closely with marketing on product launches, promotional activities, and discontinuations</li>
<li>Monitor forecast precision and execute enhancement initiatives</li>
<li>Identify demand influencers and root causes of forecast discrepancies</li>
<li>Provide regular reports on demand patterns, inventory risks, and service levels</li>
<li>Identify product shortages, surpluses, or risks of obsolescence</li>
<li>Manage data within the Planning System effectively</li>
<li>Develop inter-transfer truckloads based on demand requirements</li>
<li>Execute any other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements:</strong></p>
<p>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year institution; a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</p>
<p><strong>Skills and Proficiencies:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proficiency with ERP or planning software (e.g., Kinaxis, SAP, Oracle, Anaplan, etc.)</li>
<li>Preference for experience with Kinaxis Maestro</li>
<li>Understanding of statistical forecasting techniques</li>
<li>Familiarity with S&OP processes</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving and scenario-planning abilities</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Capacity for teamwork and collaboration</li>
<li>Expertise in Supply Chain and Demand management</li>
</ul>
