<div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <p><em>Also known as: Service Manager, Maintenance Manager, Contracts Manager, Service Operations Manager, Mechanical Services Manager, HVAC Supervisor </em></p> <hr /> <h3><strong>Overview</strong></h3> <p>An established HVAC contractor is looking to appoint a Service &amp; Maintenance Manager to take ownership of its service division. The business operates across ventilation and air conditioning, with an existing client base and a strong pipeline of ad hoc and contract work. This role has been created to support planned growth and bring structure, commercial control, and leadership to the department. </p> <hr /> <h3><strong>The Role</strong></h3> <p>You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and development of the service and maintenance function, covering ventilation and air conditioning systems.</p> <p>Key responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Managing service and maintenance contracts from enquiry and tender through to delivery</li> <li>Overseeing a key long-term contract within a large-scale estate environment</li> <li>Leading a team of engineers </li> <li>Pricing, quoting, and scoping service, maintenance, and small works</li> <li>Coordinating reactive and planned maintenance activities</li> <li>Maintaining service delivery standards across AHUs, ductwork, and AC systems (split, VRF/VRV)</li> <li>Acting as the main point of contact for clients and ensuring ongoing relationship management</li> <li>Supporting the growth of the division, including input into recruitment and structure</li> </ul> <hr /> <h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Proven background in HVAC service and maintenance (ventilation and/or air conditioning)</li> <li>Technically competent across systems such as AHUs, ductwork, and AC (split, VRF/VRV)</li> <li>Experience in pricing and quoting service or small works</li> <li>Previous supervisory or management experience, or stepping up from a senior engineer position</li> <li>Strong organisational and communication skills</li> <li>Commercial awareness and ability to manage client relationships</li> <li>Full UK driving licence</li> </ul> <hr /> <h3><strong>Package</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Salary: circa £45,000 &#8211; £55,000</li> <li>Office-based role</li> <li>22 days holiday + bank holidays</li> <li>Company pension</li> <li>Clear opportunity to build and grow a service division</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div> <div> </div> <div> <div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> <div> </div> <p>WR HVAC | M&amp;E are #1 recruitment partner for HVAC jobs.
