Join Our Team as an Instrument & Controls Technician: V and Lead Critical LNG Startup Operations
Are you an experienced I&C professional eager to play a pivotal role in the groundbreaking operation of an LNG facility? We are seeking a highly skilled I&C Technician: V to lead commissioning, startup, and system turnover activities that are vital to the safe and efficient startup of a state-of-the-art LNG plant. What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation and control systems within LNG, gas processing, or cryogenic facilities.
- Proven expertise in instrumentation calibration, loop checks, functional testing, and troubleshooting.
- Deep familiarity with GE Mark VI turbine controls and online analyzers such as GCs, moisture, and gas quality analyzers.
- Strong knowledge of process measurements including pressure, temperature, flow, and level.
- Experience leading system completion, turnover, and startup activities, ensuring all systems meet project specifications and safety standards.
Nice to Have:
- Additional experience with DCS integration and field instrumentation during plant startup.
- Certifications related to instrumentation, control systems, or safety.
- Prior involvement in multi-disciplinary project teams and high-pressure operational environments.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of direct commissioning and startup experience in LNG or related cryogenic environments.
- Adept at reading and interpreting P&IDs, loop diagrams, and control narratives.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot in live plant conditions and lead system validation tasks efficiently.
Other Requirements:
- Onsite work environment with the necessity of extended hours, including nights and weekends during critical milestones.
- Valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) is required.
- Ability to work effectively across Operations, Engineering, Construction, and Commissioning teams.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality procedures, and environmental compliance.
