Senior Data and Business Analyst – Data Platform and Cloud Integration

As a Senior Data and Business Analyst – Data Platform and Cloud Integration, you will be working for our client, a leader in leveraging data and cloud technologies to drive business insights and operational excellence. You will spearhead initiatives to optimize data ingestion, improve data quality processes, and facilitate integration with platforms such as Google Cloud and Hadoop. Your expertise will empower the organization to make smarter, faster data-driven decisions, fueling digital transformation and competitive advantage. Your main responsibilities: Elicit requirements through interviews, workshops, and process analysis to define project scope and deliverables. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable data solutions. Work with the Pod Delivery Manager to communicate project progress, prepare documentation and presentations, and ensure stakeholder alignment. Gather, analyze, and manipulate data, translating insights into technical specifications for data engineers. Document requirements, process flows, data mappings, and design solutions according to standards, maintaining traceability. Promote data governance standards, ensuring data quality, lineage, and definitions are incorporated into deliverables. Produce high-quality documentation including business requirements, data dictionaries, and user guides. Support agile project delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and quality standards. Assist in testing and organising project activities to ensure smooth execution. You're ideal for this role if you have: Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a technical Business Analyst, preferably with a focus on data platforms and cloud solutions. Strong understanding of ESG Data and data lifecycle management. Proven experience in delivering data-centric change initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. Excellent communication skills to engage with technical teams and business users at all levels. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and data integration with third-party sources. Experience working with Google Cloud, Hadoop, or similar data platforms. It is a strong plus if you have: Certifications in data analysis, cloud computing, or related fields. Language Required for the role: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
