Penspen is urgently looking to hire for Specialist HSE (Offshore - WHTs, Subsea Cable & Piping B/Fs) for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi.
Qualification Required
The candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, or Environmental Sciences.
Responsibilities
Responsible to ensure safe execution of offshore construction, installation, and maintenance activities on Wellhead Towers (WHTs), subsea cable routes, and piping brownfield modifications, while maintaining compliance with company HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and international best practices.
Enforce company HSE policies, procedures, and Life-Saving Rules across all offshore work
Review and validate Risk Assessments (RA)Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and Method Statements for WHT, subsea, and piping activities.
Ensure strict control of Permit to Work (PTW) systems, including SIMOPS, hot work, confined space entry, and lifting operations.
Participate in hazard identification (HAZID) and constructability reviews for brownfield scopes.
Monitor safe execution of: Deck extensions, Structural modifications, Wellhead maintenance activities, Lifting and rigging operations
Oversee safety during: Cable laying, trenching, and burial, ROV operations Diver and on-diver subsea interventions Vessel-to-platform interface operations
Conduct emergency drills (man overboard, fire, H2S, medevac).
Ensure emergency response equipment is functional and accessible.
Perform daily HSE inspections and audits on WHTs, barges, and vessels.
Identify unsafe acts/conditions and enforce corrective actions.
Maintain records of PTW, audits, inspections, and safety observations.
Experience Required
Minimum 15 + years of experience, with at least 5 years significant in offshore project.
Strong knowledge of offshore safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response
Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor (preferred)
Preferred experience from PMC/EPC Background.
Previous ADNOC Offshore Experience is advantage.
