We’re on the hunt for a Head of Technology with serious eCommerce credentials — and a proven track record of running high-performing Shopify teams (including third-party development partners) — to lead the charge in transforming how automotive brands sell and engage online.

Your Mission

• Own the eCommerce Platform: Lead the development, optimisation, and scaling of Shopify-based solutions — managing both internal teams and specialist third-party agencies.

• Set the Tech Roadmap: Align platform capabilities with sales growth, customer retention, and brand expansion.

• Champion AI & Automation: Embed AI tools and automation into marketing, fulfilment, and customer service to create a frictionless buying journey.

• Lead High-Impact Teams: Build, coach, and manage world-class talent across engineering, DevOps, data, and support.

• Integrate for Growth: Oversee seamless integrations between Shopify, logistics, CRM, and marketing platforms.

• Data-Driven Decisions: Optimise product content, analytics, and reporting to supercharge commercial performance.

• Platform Reliability: Own uptime, speed, and performance, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.

What You’ll Bring

• Senior-level leadership in eCommerce technology, ideally within a scaling retail or automotive environment.

• Shopify mastery – from core functionality to deep customisation and complex integrations.

• Proven success in managing and getting results from third-party Shopify development agencies.

• Strong technical expertise across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), APIs, infrastructure, and data architecture.

• Experience implementing AI and automation that deliver measurable ROI.
