As a Python Automation Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for infrastructure and application environments.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Azure DevOps.
- Develop scalable automation scripts and tools using Python.
- Create and maintain Docker-based containerized solutions.
- Integrate enterprise applications and platforms using REST APIs.
- Troubleshoot Linux systems and resolve automation-related issues.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Prepare High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation for automation initiatives.
- Work closely with stakeholders during user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure successful delivery.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and execution.
- Continuously improve deployment processes and automation frameworks.
- Support infrastructure automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Python development with a strong focus on automation.
- Proven experience in infrastructure and DevOps automation.
- Strong expertise in building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps for build and release automation.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in Shell scripting for automation and system management.
- Knowledge of REST API development and third-party API integrations.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts; Terraform experience is an advantage.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
You should possess the ability to:
- Independently design and implement end-to-end automation solutions.
- Develop, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and Azure DevOps.
- Estimate development efforts accurately based on product backlog requirements.
- Prepare and present HLDs, LLDs, and technical solution proposals.
- Influence architectural and design decisions through technical expertise.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Build reusable Python automation frameworks for infrastructure and application deployment.
- Integrate enterprise applications using REST APIs and automation workflows.
- Troubleshoot complex Linux, pipeline, and deployment issues efficiently.
- Work on multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining delivery quality.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities in Agile project environments.
- Ensure automation solutions follow best practices for scalability, security, and maintainability.
