<p><strong>Equine Veterinary Surgeon – Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire Region</strong></p>
<p>GVC is assisting an established and well-equipped equine veterinary practice in the Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire area to find a dedicated Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced and supportive team.</p>
<p><u><strong>The Opportunity</strong></u></p>
<p>This is a rare opportunity to join a busy six-vet ambulatory team, known for its friendly, collaborative culture and strong client relationships. The practice serves a broad and loyal client base, ranging from leisure horses to studs, racehorses, and competition horses.</p>
<p><u><strong>The Team</strong></u></p>
<p>The practice has a highly experienced and supportive team of veterinary surgeons, nurses, and administrative staff. Regular team meetings, journal clubs, and social events foster a positive and inclusive working environment. Vets are encouraged to work up their own cases with the backing of senior colleagues and access to excellent facilities for in-clinic diagnostics and treatments.</p>
<p>The practice is equipped with modern tools and advanced technology, including a surgical laser, and provides comprehensive training and mentoring to ensure continuous professional development.</p>
<p><u><strong>The Role</strong></u></p>
<p>This position would suit a confident and motivated equine vet who enjoys delivering high-quality clinical care and building strong client relationships. The role offers a varied and interesting caseload, with the opportunity to develop personal areas of clinical interest and expand services within the practice.</p>
<p>Routine work is efficiently structured through zone days, ensuring continuity of care and excellent client satisfaction.</p>

<p>Full-time, 5-day working week – part-time applications welcomed</p>

<p>1 in 6/7 out-of-hours rota (with strong peer support)</p>
