<p>Mobile Engineer (PPM)</p><p>📍 <strong>Leeds, York & Hull (Field-Based Role)</strong><br>🏢 <strong>Pareto FM – Northern Business Unit</strong><br>🕒 <strong>Full-Time</strong></p><p>Pareto FM are looking for a skilled and reliable <strong>Mobile Engineer (PPM)</strong> to support a portfolio of sites across <strong>Leeds, York and Hull</strong>.</p><p>This is a <strong>field-based role</strong>, so travel between sites is a core part of the job. You’ll take ownership of planned maintenance delivery across your region, ensuring building services systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.</p><p>You’ll be part of a well-supported engineering team within the Northern Business Unit, with clear structure, strong leadership, and the tools you need to do the job properly.</p><hr><h2>The Role</h2><p>You’ll focus primarily on <strong>Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)</strong> across mechanical and/or electrical systems, while supporting reactive works when needed.</p><p>This is a role for someone who likes autonomy — managing their own day, covering multiple sites, and taking pride in delivering work to a high standard.</p><hr><h2>What You’ll Be Doing</h2><ul><li><p>Delivering <strong>PPM across building services systems</strong> in line with schedules and SLAs</p></li><li><p>Supporting <strong>reactive maintenance and fault finding</strong> when required</p></li><li><p>Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard</p></li><li><p>Updating <strong>CAFM systems</strong> accurately and in real time</p></li><li><p>Working in line with <strong>health & safety procedures</strong>, including RAMS</p></li><li><p>Identifying and reporting risks, faults, or inefficiencies</p></li><li><p>Carrying out minor repairs and general building maintenance tasks</p></li><li><p>Liaising with clients and site teams professionally</p></li><li><p>Supporting subcontractors when on site</p></li><li><p>Maintaining tools, equipment and materials to the right standard</p></li></ul><hr><h2>Team & Support Structure</h2><ul><li><p>Day-to-day support from <strong>Lead Contract Support</strong> (tools, materials, guidance)</p></li><li><p>Line management from <strong>Account Manager and Engineering Supervisor</strong></p></li><li><p>Part of the <strong>Northern Business Unit</strong>, with wider team support</p></li><li><p>Clear communication, structure, and a collaborative approach</p></li></ul><hr><h2>What We’re Looking For</h2><ul><li><p>Experience in a <strong>PPM / maintenance engineering role</strong></p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of <strong>building services systems (M&E / HVAC)</strong></p></li><li><p>Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)</p></li><li><p>Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability</p></li><li><p>Experience using <strong>CAFM systems or mobile reporting tools</strong></p></li><li><p>Full UK driving licence (essential)</p></li><li><p>Comfortable working independently across multiple sites</p></li></ul><hr><h2>Desirable</h2><ul><li><p>18th Edition (electrical bias)</p></li><li><p>F-Gas (HVAC bias)</p></li><li><p>Experience in commercial environments (FM, offices, retail, etc.)</p></li></ul><hr><h2>About You</h2><ul><li><p>Reliable, self-motivated and organised</p></li><li><p>Comfortable in a <strong>mobile, regional role</strong></p></li><li><p>Strong communicator with a professional approach</p></li><li><p>Detail-focused and safety-conscious</p></li><li><p>Customer-focused and proactive</p></li></ul><hr><h2>What We Offer</h2><ul><li><p>Competitive salary</p></li><li><p>Company vehicle or allowance</p></li><li><p>Tools and uniform provided</p></li><li><p>Ongoing training and development</p></li><li><p>Clear progression within Pareto FM</p></li></ul><hr><p>If you’re a Mobile Engineer covering <strong>Leeds, York or Hull</strong> and want a role where you’re trusted to manage your own region while being properly supported — we’d love to hear from you.</p>
