About the Role
Job Summary: Our client is seeking a Backend Software Developer to join their team! This position is located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Duties: Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot Build and maintain RESTful APIs for enterprise-scale applications Deploy and support services in AWS environments such as: ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc. Containerize applications and work with Kubernetes/EKS for deployment and scaling Collaborate with other engineers to design reusable, maintainable, and high-performing services Participate in Agile development practices and iterative releases Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to maintain service reliability Follow best practices for code quality, testing, and CI/CD integration Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape backend design patterns Desired Skills/Experience: Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design Hands-on experience with AWS such as: ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc. Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes Ability to write clean, maintainable code and unit/integration tests Knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex production issues Familiarity with Agile development practices Benefits: Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans Employee-Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP) 401K offered The approximate pay range for this position starting at $115,000-$139,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
