About the Role
Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to support financial operations for a manufacturing environment in Greensboro, NC.
Pay: $26.00 to $30.00/ hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8a-5p, (100% Onsite)
Benefits: 10 paid holidays and 80 hours of accrued PTO
Summary: This role is responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor accounts, coordinating payments, and supporting audit activities while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company financial procedures.
Responsibilities:
Verify and process Accounts Payable invoices, including expense reports, freight billings, manual check requests, and commissions.
Coordinate with Purchasing and Receiving to ensure accurate invoice verification and payment processing.
Process weekly check runs and execute required wire transfers.
Reconcile vendor accounts and coordinate with vendors regarding outstanding payables.
Manage vendor inquiries related to invoice status and payment timelines.
Maintain and update Vendor Master Data within financial systems.
Improve vendor statement reconciliation and invoice verification processes.
Provide documentation and support for quarterly and year-end audits related to Accounts Payable.
Monitor AP workflow and assist with training new department employees.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments.
Work with Information Systems to support the configuration and optimization of Accounts Payable software.
Operate within multiple accounting systems, including ERP platforms.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
3–5 years of Accounts Payable experience
Experience working with SAP and SAP S/4HANA preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage vendor communications and payment reconciliation
Experience working in ERP-based financial systems.
