Job Description:

The Human Resource Assistant supports the daily operations of the HR department by providing administrative and organizational support. The Human Resource Assistant helps maintain employee records, assist with HR programs, and support recruiting and onboarding activities. The Human Resource Assistant works closely with HR staff and hiring managers to help ensure smooth HR operations and positive employee experiences.The Human Resource Assistant plays an important role in supporting HR operations, helping employees, and assisting leadership with important HR processes.

  • Location: Lewisville, TX. 75056
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Interviews: In-person
  • Pay rate: $20.00- $35.25 D.O.E.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Payroll experience

  • HR degree or certificate

  • Experience with headcount reporting

  • 2–3 years of HR generalist, recruiting, or employee relations experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding

  • Maintain and organize employee records and HR documents

  • Help coordinate new employee orientation and HR meetings

  • Support recruiting and hiring managers during the hiring process

  • Assist with leave administration and unemployment claims

  • Support HR reporting and compliance requirements, including OSHA reporting

  • Create and distribute HR communications such as emails, memos, and reports

  • Track and organize surveys, spreadsheets, and HR data

  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support HR initiatives that promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture

  • Help organize meetings, conference calls, webinars, and HR events

  • Assist with gathering and analyzing HR data and reports

  • Maintain accurate filing systems and confidential employee information

  • Follow company policies, procedures, and employment regulations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; college degree or certificate in Human Resources preferred

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized in a busy environment

  • Basic math and data analysis skills

  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws is a plus

  • Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Excel

  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
