<h2><strong>Role Overview</strong></h2>
<p>We are seeking a Quality Engineer with strong CMM inspection experience. The successful candidate will primarily operate CMM equipment while supporting wider quality engineering activities within a precision aerospace manufacturing environment.</p>
<p>This role is hands-on and inspection-focused, with additional quality engineering responsibilities.</p>
<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2>

<p>Operate and run CMM inspections using:</p>
<ul>

<p><strong>LK Altera 15.10.8</strong></p>

<p><strong>Camio (2022)</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Focus (2021)</strong></p>

</ul>
</li>
<li>
<p>Execute pre-written CMM programs and perform dimensional inspections</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Interpret and inspect components in line with engineering drawings and GD&T requirements</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Produce and review inspection reports</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Identify and manage non-conformances</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Support root cause investigations and corrective actions</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Assist with First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ensure compliance with AS9100 and internal quality standards</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Liaise with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>Required Experience & Skills</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Experience operating bridge-type CMM machines (LK experience desirable)</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Working knowledge of <strong>Camio or similar CMM software</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong understanding of <strong>GD&T</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience inspecting precision machined components</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ability to read and interpret complex aerospace engineering drawings</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience within an aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environment</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Good understanding of quality processes and non-conformance management</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>Desirable</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Some experience with CMM programming (not essential)</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Knowledge of AS9100 standards</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience with FAIR documentation</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Exposure to chemically etched or SMW components</p>
</li>
