<p>As a Lead Civil Engineer, you will oversee project management, business development, and team leadership. With a focus on civil land development projects, you will collaborate with various disciplines, support technical proposals, and contribute to marketing efforts. This role provides the opportunity to nurture and manage a talented engineering team within a supportive office environment.</p>

<h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Manage and lead land development projects from inception to completion</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Coordinate with different disciplines for project design and delivery</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Oversee site layouts, grading plans, stormwater facilities, and utility design</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Collaborate with the business development team and assist with proposal development</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Engage in marketing to attract commercial, institutional, and industrial clients</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Guide and mentor the civil engineering team for growth and development</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Deliver high-quality technical design and consulting services to clients</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Establish and maintain strong client relationships</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Work with engineers in different locations to manage workload effectively</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><em>Experience with public utilities or Seattle-area projects is a plus</em></p>

<h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Active Washington State Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>At least <strong>10 years</strong> of civil engineering experience</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Solid background in land development and interdisciplinary coordination</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Previous work with local A/E firms is advantageous</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and related software preferred</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience in public utilities design is beneficial</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience as a prime consultant is a positive</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Knowledge of zoning entitlements and permits is desirable</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ability to collaborate effectively with team members in various locations</p>
