JSG is recruiting a Candidate who will be supporting an innovative food manufacturing operations as a Logistics Technician! In this hands-on role, you will supervise warehouse and logistics activities within a fast-paced, food production environment, ensuring seamless distribution. This position is located in Plymouth IN.
Pay $30/hour to $35/hour. Per Diem Available for out of State candidates.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of warehouse and logistics management experience, ideally within a food manufacturing environment in Warehouse
- Strong organizational skills with the to make ability to a tangible impact in manage multiple priorities in a fast a fast-changing environment
- Excellent communication, coaching, and team-building abilities
- Familiarity with material handling-paced manufacturing equipment and cGMP standards
Required Skills:
- Knowledge- Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems of food safety standards and compliance; SAP preferred
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-changing environment
Preferred Education and Experience skills
- Some Experience with college coursework; degree preferred
- Past material handling equipment and maintaining cGMP standards
Nice to Have Skills:
- Background in food industry operations
- Experience with continuous process improvement experience supporting food manufacturing or similar industries initiatives
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with various departments
- Familiarity with inventory accuracy measures and cycle counting
