Job Overview
The Quotations Supervisor will play a pivotal role in driving pricing excellence across a defined scope of Hubbell Electrical Solutions (HES) businesses. This is a hands-on supervisory role where the incumbent will be expected to lead a small team of 3-5 quote specialists while also directly supporting the day-to-day management and fulfillment of inbound quote and pricing requests.As a change leader, the Quotations Supervisor will support the implementation and team adoption of new quote & pricing related processes and tools, fostering a culture of innovation, adaptability, and standardization across the quoting and pricing function. Responsible for executing the pricing strategy and delivery for a defined group of businesses, this role combines commercial leadership, analytical expertise, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver results that are tailored to maximize business unit objectives.

Build strong partnerships with business unit stakeholders that exemplifies the “extended team” approach.
Ensure the effective design of comprehensive pricing strategies that optimize revenue and profitability while consistently meeting or exceeding service level expectations.
This role combines people management and individual contributor responsibilities. The supervisor is expected to spend approximately half of their time on leadership activities (coaching, oversight, performance management) and the other half executing core quoting functions equivalent to those performed by team members.

What will help you thrive in this role?
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, finance, supply chain, or another analytically rigorous field; equivalent industry experience considered.
3+ years of experience in the electrical products industry—ideally supporting electrical distribution, contractor/customer sales, customer service, quoting, or pricing (e.g., working with large line-card catalogs, project quotes, and fast-turn inquiries).
Working knowledge of electrical distribution/channel dynamics, including contractor and distributor expectations, quoting turn-times, project/bid processes, and margin/price waterfall fundamentals.
Strong stakeholder and customer orientation—comfortable partnering with Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, and key distributor contacts to resolve pricing/availability questions quickly and accurately.
Ability to translate data into action using tools such as Power BI or Tableau—supporting quote strategy, customer-specific pricing, win/loss insights, and service level performance in a high-mix product environment.
High level of proficiency with SAP (Sales & Distribution module) required; experience supporting quoting/pricing workflows in an ERP environment preferred.
