About the Role
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">We are looking for an ambitious and talented Financial Accountant to join our UK Finance Team. This is a great role for someone who is looking to develop their accounting skills and learn from a highly skilled and motivated team in a fast-paced SaaS Technology environment. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This role is important in our Finance team, and you will play a key part in ensuring the financial records of the Group are accurate, complete, and reliable.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you will be doing:</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">As a Financial Accountant, you will get involved in:</span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform month-end accounting activities, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and profit and loss analysis</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Support the implementation of new finance systems, including the development and embedding of new controls and processes</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist with the annual statutory financial audit, including preparation of supporting documentation and responding to audit queries</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Oversee cash reporting for the business, including preparation of weekly cash flow forecasts and liaising with banking partners</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Gain exposure to FX hedging, including forecasting currency requirements, contributing to hedging strategies, and supporting the implementation of the company’s hedging policy</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Support tax reporting across the group, including VAT, UK corporation tax, and US taxes</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Prepare technical accounting papers and support the implementation and maintenance of financial accounting policies</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with wider Finance teams and key stakeholders, including senior management, to provide financial insights and support decision-making</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Contribute to ad-hoc tasks and drive continuous process improvement initiatives</span></li>

<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Excellent communication and organisational skills</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Good Excel/Google Sheets skills</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Numerical degree</span></li>
