<p data-path-to-node="4">The <strong data-path-to-node="4" data-index-in-node="4">RNPD Specialist</strong> is a dual-focus leadership role designed for an experienced nurse who thrives on both clinical excellence and strategic organizational growth. You will divide your expertise between <strong data-path-to-node="4" data-index-in-node="202">shaping the future of our nursing workforce</strong>—through high-impact education and retention strategies—and <strong data-path-to-node="4" data-index-in-node="305">providing direct clinical leadership</strong> for a dedicated subset of client cases.</p>
<h3 data-path-to-node="5"><strong data-path-to-node="5" data-index-in-node="0">Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li data-path-to-node="6,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="6,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Professional Development:</strong> Design and deliver evidence-based training, including tracheostomy and ventilator certifications for at least 15 nurses per month.</li>
<li data-path-to-node="6,1,0"><strong data-path-to-node="6,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Retention Strategy:</strong> Analyze turnover data and implement strategic initiatives to reduce voluntary nursing turnover.</li>
<li data-path-to-node="6,2,0"><strong data-path-to-node="6,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Clinical Leadership:</strong> Manage a caseload of up to 10 in-home supervisory visits per week, overseeing care plans (POCs), assessments, and field staff supervision.</li>
<li data-path-to-node="6,3,0"><strong data-path-to-node="6,3,0" data-index-in-node="0">Quality & Compliance:</strong> Ensure all educational programs and clinical documentation align with state, federal, and accrediting agency regulations.</li>
<li data-path-to-node="6,4,0"><strong data-path-to-node="6,4,0" data-index-in-node="0">Interdisciplinary Collaboration:</strong> Work alongside the Director of Nursing and Healthcare Team to optimize workflows and adopt new clinical technologies.</li>

<h3 data-path-to-node="8"><strong data-path-to-node="8" data-index-in-node="0">Qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li data-path-to-node="9,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="9,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Education:</strong> Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN with a focus on Education or Leadership preferred.</li>
<li data-path-to-node="9,1,0"><strong data-path-to-node="9,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Licensure:</strong> Current, unrestricted RN license in the State of Michigan.</li>
<li data-path-to-node="9,2,0"><strong data-path-to-node="9,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Experience:</strong> Minimum of 3+ years of nursing experience. Background in clinical education, curriculum design, or nurse residency programs is highly preferred.</li>
<li data-path-to-node="9,3,0"><strong data-path-to-node="9,3,0" data-index-in-node="0">Certification:</strong> NPD-BC certification preferred (or a commitment to obtain it within the first year).</li>
<li data-path-to-node="9,4,0"><strong data-path-to-node="9,4,0" data-index-in-node="0">Technical Skills:</strong> Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, G Suite, and Electronic Health Records (EHR).</li>
<li data-path-to-node="9,5,0"><strong data-path-to-node="9,5,0" data-index-in-node="0">Physical:</strong> Ability to travel for in-home visits and lift/push/pull up to 30 lbs.</li>

This role will require sitting most of the day as well as walking and standing periodically. This role may require close visual acuity on computer screens or monitors and the ability to analyze data and figures on a screen.</p>
