About the Role
Join a fast-growing, independent investment boutique specialising in liquid alternatives, now ~1 year into its journey. This is a front-office aligned role , working closely with the PM and offering direct exposure to investment decisions, fund activity, and strategy development from day one. The Role A broad, hands-on position supporting both the day-to-day running of the fund and ongoing systems / infrastructure build-out . You’ll combine quantitative thinking with practical execution , gaining real investment exposure early. Support fund operations (valuations, fees, processes) Improve and automate workflows (systems / IT focus) Work with internal & external stakeholders Support the PM across structured products & cross-asset strategies Contribute analytically (non-heavy modelling) Your Background 0–2 years’ experience Finance experience preferred, but open to quantitative / technical backgrounds Strong maths / statistics foundation Highly organised, logical thinker Strong communication skills Technical skills (Python / data / systems) beneficial What They’re Looking For Practical, hands-on mindset (not purely theoretical) Curious and motivated to learn Comfortable across ops, tech, and investments Interested in building a long-term career in asset management Why Join Work directly with an experienced PM (cross-asset / quant) Join a fund early in its growth phase Exposure across investment, operations, and technology Clear path toward a broader investment / PM role Compensation £50k – £80k base Ideal for a numerate, driven junior looking for real responsibility and exposure within a growing fund.
