The HDMI Extender is designed to transmit visually lossless and low latency 4K 60Hz video and 7.1 channel audio up to 200 feet (60 meters) over a single network cable. This HDMI over CAT5e extender is HDMI 2.0 compliant and supports up to 4K 60Hz resolutions, HDR, HDCP 2.2, DTS, and Dolby Digital audio. This makes it suitable for high-quality video and audio transmission over long distances. The extender features Power-over-Cable (PoC) technology, allowing the included power adapter to connect only to the transmitter while providing power to both the transmitter and receiver through the CAT5e/6 cable. This feature reduces the need for additional power sources at the receiver end. A point-to-point connection uses a single CAT6/5e cable and requires no drivers, software, or IP configuration, significantly reducing setup time. The HDMI extender can be mounted on a wall, ceiling, or the underside of a table using the included brackets.

Title: Frequently drops audio. Try fiber.
Review: PC -> 6′ HDMI -> 50′ CAT6a -> 6′ HDMI -> 4K TV4K @ 30HzThat was my setup. The picture looked great (some minor artifacting)! The audio was NOT.Occasionally the audio just dropped. To make sure it wasn’t my old HDMI cables, I bought everything new! HDMI and Ethernet from CableMatters (they are great quality). No improvement. This is actually my 3rd HMDI-over-Ethernet extender I have tried. The first 2 were from OREI. They fail the same way and I could get it to fail even at 1080p@30Hz. I tweaked my auido settings on my PC and TV to no avail. It would stop dropping the audo for a bit if I unplugged the ethernet or power and plugged it back in. It was as if the audio was dropping packets at the transmitter. In the end I went with fiber HDMI. Works perfect, but I am nervous it will get damaged easily, which is why I initially went with this.I will be returning this extender.

Review: Works well. Power is delivered to the receiver via Cat 5 cable so only needs one power supply.Signal is clear at the receiving end.
