Our\n interdisciplinary team develops AI methods to analyze social signals, such as facial expressions, gaze, vocal\n cues, and heart rate, to improve mental health and enhance human – AI interaction. Collaborating with\n psychological and medical institutes worldwide, we use advanced machine learning, audio, and image\n processing techniques to support clinical diagnostics and behavioral research. Committed to AI fairness and\n explainability, we aim to create algorithms and tools that are both scientifically robust and ethically sound.\n \n More information about the lab can be found here: Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence\n \n\n \n\n \n \n Your Tasks\n Research activities (70 %):\n \n developing machine learning methods for\n analyzing interaction behavior\n \n applying and/or developing multimodal\n algorithm for facial, vocal and gaze analysis\n \n literature research at the intersection of\n computerscience and psychology\n \n planning, conduction, and evaluation of\n empirical studies with human participants\n \n collaboration with clinical research partners\n \n \n\n If the position is offered to a postdoctoral\n researcher:\n \n complex research tasks, including the\n development of an independent research\n agenda (60 %)\n \n contribution to the preparation of funding\n applications (third-party funding management)\n (10 %)\n \n \n Teaching duties (25 %)\n \n teaching (up to 4 LVS) and supervision of\n bachelor/master theses or student projects\n \n \n Other activities (5 %):\n\n \n participating in administration and organization\n of the working group\n \n Employment is conducive to scientific qualification\n and provides the opportunity for further academic\n development.\n\n
