Position Title: Lawn Care, Grounds Maintenance & Concrete Laborer (6 Positions Available)
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, DOE (Depending on Experience)
Employment Type: Seasonal with Potential for Year-Round Employment
Position Summary
We are currently seeking motivated and reliable individuals to fill six Lawn Care, Grounds Maintenance, and Concrete Laborer positions. Employees will assist with a variety of outdoor projects including lawn maintenance, landscaping, property upkeep, site cleanup, and concrete mixing and placement. This is a seasonal position expected to continue until the ground freezes, with opportunities for year-round employment based on performance, workload, and company needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform lawn mowing, trimming, edging, and general landscape maintenance.
- Assist with property cleanup, debris removal, and site preparation.
- Operate lawn care and landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
- Mix, pour, spread, and finish concrete under supervision.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
- Perform general labor tasks on construction and maintenance projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with snow removal, winter maintenance, or other duties as assigned if year-round employment becomes available.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous lawn care, landscaping, construction, or concrete experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to learn and follow directions in a fast-paced work environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and lawn care equipment.
Schedule
- Full-time seasonal work available immediately.
- Expected employment through the end of the construction and landscaping season (until the ground freezes).
- Potential for year-round employment based on company needs and employee performance.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay of $18.00 – $20.00 per hour DOE
- Overtime opportunities may be available.
- On-the-job training provided.
