Bus Driver- Direct Hire
Advance Services Inc.is hiring for Bus Drivers for a school district in Hastings. Bus Drivers are responsible to safety transport students to and from school events. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact in their community.
Wage: $18.50-21.00 DOE
Shift: Hours vary depending on activities- evening and weekend hours involved
12 months a year
Job Duties
- Safe Transportation:
Safely and efficiently transport students to school and district-sponsored activities.
- Vehicle Maintenance:
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, ensuring it is in good mechanical condition and clean.
- Student Welfare:
Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean environment for students on the bus, reporting any issues promptly.
- Compliance:
Adhere to all traffic laws, state regulations, and district transportation policies.
- Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records related to their routes and student transportation.
Class B CDL required( school district can help obtain)
High School Diploma or GED preferred
