A fast-growing digital agency delivering cutting-edge web solutions and creative brand experiences. Their team of developers, designers, and marketers collaborate to produce websites and campaigns that are not only visually engaging but also technically robust.

This is a full-time, on-site role in Newcastle, where you’ll be part of a close-knit team working together five days a week in the office.

They are looking for a WordPress Developer who enjoys problem solving, experimenting with new tools, and creating seamless digital experiences. You’ll contribute to a wide range of projects, from campaign microsites to large-scale eCommerce builds, working alongside design, strategy, and content teams to deliver scalable and creative solutions.

Role Responsibilities

• Building responsive, accessible, standards-compliant websites using WordPress, HubSpot and Shopify

• Turning creative concepts into seamless, functional experiences

• Working across a variety of projects from quick turnaround campaigns to full scale web applications

• Writing clean, efficient, future-proof code

• Collaborating with designers, copywriters and client services teams

Required Skills

• Strong HTML5, CSS/SCSS, PHP and JavaScript skills

• Experience creating bespoke WordPress sites and themes from scratch

• An eye for design and appreciation for good UX/UI

• Git knowledge

Desired but not required

• Timber, Twig, Tailwind or Bootstrap, Laravel, Vue, Shopify Liquid, HubSpot CMS, Agile experience, REST principles
