Fire & Security Installation Engineer

Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our Belfast client who is a well-established and highly respected provider of fire and electronic security solutions across commercial, industrial and public sector environments throughout Northern Ireland. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Fire & Security Installation Engineer with CCTV expertise to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company known for its high technical standards, long-term contracts and stable workload. DETAILS IF ROLE As a Fire & Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of a wide range of systems, with a particular emphasis on CCTV solutions. You will work across varied sites, ensuring systems are installed to the highest standards while delivering excellent service to clients.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation, commissioning and maintenance of: Fire alarm systems Intruder alarm systems CCTV systems (essential) Access control systems Fault finding, diagnosis and system repairs Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits Completing detailed and accurate service documentation Ensuring all work complies with current industry standards and regulations Providing on-site technical support and guidance to clients Participating in an on-call rota (where required) CRITERIA To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer (installation-focused) Strong experience installing and commissioning CCTV systems Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills Experience with a range of manufacturers such as: Gent Advanced Hikvision Paxton Honeywell Galaxy Texecom (or similar systems) A strong understanding of current fire and security industry standards The ability to work independently and manage your own workload Good communication skills and a professional approach on client sites A full UK driving licence Benefits Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience and background) Secure, long-term work pipeline Opportunity to work on high-quality commercial and public sector contracts Supportive and technically strong team environmentOngoing training and development opportunities If you are a skilled Fire & Security Engineer with strong CCTV installation experience and are looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with a reputable employer, we would love to hear from you.
