About the Role
<p class="MsoNormal">Join an EXCITING team at a manufacturing company in Grove City, OH that is seeking a skilled <strong>CNC OPERATOR (2ND SHIFT)</strong>. This position requires expertise in 4- and 5-axis milling in a production setting with high variety and low volume, focusing on quality control and maintaining tight tolerances.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Work hours for the CNC Operator (2nd Shift) are Monday-Thursday from 4:00pm-2:30am, with potential first shift training for up to one month.</strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Duties:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Operate multiple 4- and 5-axis CNC Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs) with automation assistance</li>
<li>Interpret intricate blueprints, GD&T, and customer requirements for short-run production</li>
<li>Setup, tool changes, offsets, and adjustments for efficient machining</li>
<li>Perform in-process adjustments for tooling, work offsets, and machine corrections</li>
<li>Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, CMM, and other precision tools</li>
<li>Review and analyze CMM reports for accuracy</li>
<li>Complete production and inspection reports accurately</li>
<li>Troubleshoot machining problems to maintain quality and efficiency</li>
<li>Maintain organized and safe work areas according to 5S principles</li>
<li>Contribute to process improvement initiatives</li>
<li>Recommend updates for tooling, fixturing, and cutting strategies</li>
<li><span style="text-indent: -0.25in;font-size: 11pt">Monitor production and address issues</span></li>
<li><span style="text-indent: -0.25in;font-size: 11pt">Perform assigned additional tasks</span></li>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 8.0pt;line-height: normal"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>At least 3 years of CNC machining experience; preferred experience with 4- and 5-axis HMC</li>
<li>Knowledge of tooling, workholding, and metal types</li>
<li>Proficiency in CNC programming and Fanuc Controls, including G & M codes editing</li>
<li>Ability to interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and GD&T</li>
<li>Skilled in precision measuring instruments and CMM inspection techniques</li>
