<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY</strong></p>
<p><span>Responsible for supervising and coordinating petroleum cargo-related operations for various business lines and major projects and providing direction and interpretation of company policies and procedures.</span></p>
<p><strong>SALARY<br /></strong><br /><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size: 11pt">Starting at $90K – Commensurate with experience</span></p>
<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<br /></strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span>Train new hire Tankermen as well as evaluate and audit the processes conducted by veteran Tankermen</span></li>
<li><span>Assist crew members with the work in remote areas, including arctic deliveries.</span></li>
<li><span>Meet with third-party vessels to monitor the loading and discharging operations on Crowley’s behalf.</span></li>
<li><span>Document the crew training, coaching, and accomplishments.</span></li>
<li><span>Supervise and coordinate load plans, ensuring crew members are trained to load, discharge, and transfer multi-grade petroleum products correctly while preventing contamination and maintaining quality.</span></li>
<li><span>Ensuring the planning and execution of cargo operations account for future loads and compatibility of products. </span></li>
<li><span>Ensure all applicable regulations for personnel safety, barge stability, and handling of hazardous cargo are followed. </span></li>
<li><span>Communicate with the customer throughout the job to ensure operational needs, requirements, and expectations are met.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span>3+ years of experience in marine cargo operations or engineering </span></li>
<li><span>1+ year in a lead, supervisory, or management role</span></li>
<li><span>Tankerman experience and expertise in bulk fuel transfers</span></li>
<li><span>Maintain a valid Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC), US Passport, a Valid Driver’s License, and participate in the DQ file process necessary to operate Company vehicles while subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check to obtain your driving history.
