Mechanical Design Engineer

We are working with a well-established product manufacturer based in Havant that designs and builds high reliability equipment used in safety critical environments. Engineering is central to the business, with mechanical, electronics and embedded teams working closely together across the full product lifecycle, from concept through to manufacture. *There is no visa sponsorship available for this role, and a UK driving license is required* Info about what the Mechanical Design Engineer role entails This Mechanical Design Engineer role centres around designing plastic injection moulded components for high volume manufacture. You’ll be responsible for delivering practical, manufacturable designs and supporting products through development and into production.   Essential Requirements of a Mechanical Design Engineer Experience designing injection moulded plastic parts Background in high volume manufacturing Strong understanding of design for manufacture 3D CAD experience Desirable Requirements of a Mechanical Design Engineer Experience working on safety critical or regulated products Exposure to automated manufacturing environments Experience supporting products through testing and into production
