We’re working with one of the UK’s largest and most well-established property developers to find a proactive and experienced Assistant Development Manager.
In this role, you’ll take full ownership of day-to-day facilities management across multiple residential and mixed-use developments, ensuring a safe, compliant, and high-quality environment for residents and occupiers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on-site facilities management operations across assigned developments
- Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations (including fire safety)
- Oversee contractor performance and service delivery
- Monitor budgets, costs, and financial performance
- Support asset management, lifecycle planning, and defect resolution
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders and residents
- Maintain accurate records using CAFM systems (e.g. MRI Evolution)
About You
- Experience in facilities or building management (residential, mixed-use, or hospitality preferred)
- Strong knowledge of UK health & safety and compliance requirements
- Confident managing contractors, budgets, and multiple sites
- Highly organised with excellent problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
