If you are an experienced options broker (Oil, Products, Gas, LNG, Power, Coal, Carbon etc) this is a great platform to support your next venture. </strong></p> <p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong basic salary/ draw with performance related bonuses</li> <li>Little ego/politics in the organization</li> <li>Ownership of the options business</li> <li>Long term development of hiring / business build out</li> <li>Longstanding team with strong business flow across desks</li> <li>Market leading platform / reputation</li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage options brokerage business across Energy Asset classes (Oil, Gas, Power, Carbon, LNG, JKM, Cross Barrel oil)</li> <li>Execute trades in a timely manner on behalf of international clients across both Corporate and Institutional customers within the energy space.</li> <li>Actively grow options client coverage utilizing the firms platform and market flow from existing desks with the ability to cross sell within the business.</li> <li>Attend industry events, conferences to establish the brands name in the wider market.</li> <li>Responsible for Desk management working with senior management to strategize growth and market entry into new asset classes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven background and client exposure in the options brokerage space across Energy asset classes (Oil, Cross barrel products, Power, Nat Gas, LNG, Carbon, EUAs, JKM etc.</li> <li>4+ years’ experience in commodity brokerage covering options within an IDB, FCM or Financial institute.</li> <li>Desire to develop a new desk with a global business supported by a vastly experienced team.</li> <li>Excellent sales and analysis skills to produce market reports and ability to upsell &amp; cross sell into the wider group.</li> <li>Located in London or able to relocate.</li> </ul> <p>The global Energy brokerage market is a small one by headcount, and we understand the need for confidentiality in conversations.
