About the Role
Site Quality ManagerMAIN PURPOSE Provide core quality management services that will be used to support the development and project work streams in all their relevant activities. The core support services will include the management of Quality Assurance and Quality Control, Management of quality documents, Maintain and report on Non-conformance register on site and advise Site Manager and Project Manager on quality issues on site as well as taking part in internal audits of the project. CORE RESPONSABILITIESManage the site quality team, support the corporate quality managers and ensure that quality goals are achievedPropose site-specific processes improvements on a continuous basis in order to maintain and optimize the quality of the site to corporate qualityWork to raise awareness of compliance with the quality management system in the site and advocate quality cultureEnsure that all contractual, company and local authority requirements are complied withImplement and monitor site quality management systemAudits on contractors during constructionLiaise with client quality representative to ensure that all potential and actual quality issues are fully resolvedEnsure quality TTO documents are all compliant and availableMonthly and biweekly report writingReview and follow-up Supplier/Subcontractor NCR’s and lead in developing corrective action plansReview and approve Supplier/Subcontractor quality documents or delegate to proper review and assure they get to the project teams as neededFacilitating procured equipment inspectionsFacilitating expeditesFAT and inspection report review (applicable to FIM, HV yard and BOP)Contractor kick-off meeting refresherReview and approval of Quality Plans from suppliers and subcontractors. CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIESQualifications Education: Min:University degree in economic-technical engineering and/or business/economicsExperience: Min:At least 3 years’ experience in Quality management in construction projects.Quality management professional with wide experience in process management, inspection, site construction and installationVerifiable record in quality management on several complex projects in ‘medium’ to ‘high focus’ environmentsExperience in the development and implementation of project QA/QC plansCompetent to lead specialist peer-assist and review teamsWind project experience is highly preferable Language:Fluent both written and spoken in (Local Language)Fluent both written and spoken in English (Depending on the country, reduce to Intermediately level) Others: Driver license Technical competencies and skillsGood knowledge in ISO 9001:2008Hands-on: understanding of being interested in how things work out in the fieldDedicated and someone who takes “ownership” to tasks and responsibilitiesFlexible and adaptable with a “can-do” attitude (“no task is too small – no task is too big”)Take “ownership” to tasks and responsibilitiesAssertiveness and organizational skillsFully computer literate and an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packagesA sound understanding of commercial impact of quality decisions on the project.Skilled at identifying project critical success factors and adopting appropriate risk management practicesBroad understanding of quality principles and ability to oversee their implementation The NRL Group connect global companies with the right people to bring engineering projects to life.
