Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant

We’re recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs including autism, moderate learning difficulties, and communication needs within a structured SEN environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Support students 1:1 and in small groups
• Assist in delivering tailored learning activities
• Help maintain a positive and structured classroom environment
• Support with behaviour, routines, and transitions

About the setting:

• Specialist SEN provision across primary and secondary
• Focus on communication, independence, and life skills
• Strong emphasis on consistency and routine

Ideal candidate:

• Level 2 TA qualification
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN
• Positive, resilient, and able to build strong relationships

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
