About the Role
Sirius Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to support the Filtration Research & Development (R&D) Applications Group within a leading biotechnology and life sciences organization. This role supports innovative filtration product and technology development through hands-on laboratory testing and experimentation in a fast-paced R&D environment.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong laboratory experience who enjoy working alongside engineers and scientists to support cutting-edge research and development initiatives. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform filtration application testing and laboratory experiments supporting R&D projectsExecute experiments according to detailed protocols with minimal supervisionAccurately document experimental work using electronic laboratory notebooksAssist with troubleshooting experimental processes and equipmentSupport data collection, preliminary analysis, and organization of resultsContribute feedback toward experimental planning and protocol improvementsMaintain compliance with all laboratory safety, health, and environmental proceduresPrepare reports and maintain detailed experimental recordsQualificationsMinimum QualificationsAssociate’s Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field ORHigh School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant laboratory experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience working in a laboratory environment following established protocolsExperience mixing solutions and preparing materials according to detailed proceduresFamiliarity with electronic laboratory notebooks and laboratory documentation practicesExperience with filtration technologies such as:Normal Flow Filtration (NFF)Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF)Adsorptive media processesBasic troubleshooting and data analysis experienceUnderstanding of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standardsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)Experience supporting product testing and development activities Sirius Staffing is an equal-opportunity employer.
