<strong>Shift Pattern:</strong> Monday to Friday 7.00am till 4pm</p>
<p><strong>Job Overview:</strong></p>
<p>We are currently recruiting an experienced <strong>Loading Shovel Driver</strong> to work at a busy <strong>waste management and recycling facility</strong>. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of waste materials using a wheeled loading shovel, ensuring the smooth running of operations on-site.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Operate a loading shovel to load and move waste materials, including general waste, recyclables, and aggregates.</li>
<li>Supply material to the processing lines and load outgoing vehicles as required.</li>
<li>Maintain loading areas by regularly removing build-up and keeping the site tidy.</li>
<li>Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance needs.</li>
<li>Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines on-site.</li>
<li>Work closely with the operations team to meet productivity targets.</li>
<li>Accurately complete any relevant paperwork or use site systems to record material movement.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Valid <strong>Loading Shovel license</strong> (e.g., NPORS, CPCS, or in-house certificate with proof of competency).</li>
<li>Proven experience operating a loading shovel in a <strong>waste, recycling, or similar industrial</strong> environment.</li>
<li>Good knowledge of <strong>site safety procedures</strong> and equipment checks.</li>
<li>Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Reliable, flexible, and a good team player.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with other plant machinery (e.g., 360 Excavator, Telehandler).</li>
<li>Manual handling or First Aid training.</li>
<li>Awareness of environmental regulations in waste handling.</li>
</ul>
