Develocraft is currently looking for a Quality Engineer for one of our clients.

  • Hybrid work: GdaÅ„sk (2 days from the office)
  • Contribute to the full service lifecycle, including planning, architecture, deployment, maintenance, and continuous optimization
  • Take part in release planning activities by evaluating functional requirements and preparing structured release schedules
  • Work alongside software engineers to create effective validation and verification testing strategies
  • Build and maintain regression testing suites while coordinating reviews with engineering, application, and field teams
  • Prepare consistent reports covering release quality and project status, presenting results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Evaluate software releases in terms of functionality, performance, usability, and overall quality standards
  • Establish and improve QA processes for assigned initiatives in line with broader organizational quality objectives
  • Coordinate, mentor, and support a flexible team involved in software testing and quality activities
  • Demonstrate strong experience managing large-scale initiatives involving multiple stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams
  • Stay up to date with QA methodologies and best practices related to modern interactive technologies
  • Define and execute automation testing strategies for multiple development teams from the early stages of projects
  • Drive automation-related initiatives, including solution design and code review activities
  • Partner with leadership and IT teams to support the development and enhancement of automation frameworks
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, Quality Engineering, IT, and Product Operations teams to streamline delivery processes and ensure scalable, high-quality product releases
  • Promote a culture focused on performance, openness, and continuous improvement, particularly in infrastructure services and development workflows
  • Work within an international engineering environment, offering direction, support, and clear prioritization across distributed teams
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in Quality Engineering or software testing roles
  • Practical experience with a minimum of two widely used testing tools or frameworks, such as Playwright, Cypress, Robot Framework, JMeter, or Rest Assured
  • Solid hands-on programming experience with Python
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing best practices, including both manual and automated testing approaches
  • Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, including SQL and NoSQL solutions
  • Familiarity with cloud-based environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Knowledge of Agile software development principles, workflows, and collaboration practices
  • Experience conducting performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or Locust
  • Working knowledge of project and defect tracking platforms like Azure DevOps, Jira, or comparable systems
  • Previous experience within Agile software development teams and cross-functional environments
  • Ability to approach challenges creatively and think beyond standard testing patterns in order to identify defects effectively
  • Capability to work in a consultative role by recognizing key business and technical challenges and contributing to solution evaluation and improvement
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
