About the Role

<p>An established Systems Integrator is hiring a <strong>PLC Programmer</strong> for ongoing projects in the <strong>Tampa, FL</strong> area. Allen Bradley Control Logix, Compact Logix, Micro Logix, and HMI screens experience is required. You will be traveling to clients&#8217; locations around the Tampa area, analyzing system requirements, writing, and installing custom programmable logic code, coordinating with field construction, and providing operational support for start-ups.</p> <p>To ensure success as a PLC programmer, you should know machine mechanics, process controls, a logical approach, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. (Allen Bradley required)</li> <li>Electrical and mechanical engineering experience preferred.</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and mechanical processes.</li> <li>Knowledge of software design principles.</li> <li>Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software and coding languages.</li> <li>Ability to work with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Ability to travel when required. (mostly in and around Tampa)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Traveling to clients&#8217; locations. (Mostly within one hour of Tampa)</li> <li>Developing and installing machine programs using automation software and custom coding languages.</li> <li>Determining machine automation test criteria before the final installation.</li> <li>Testing automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability.</li> <li>Troubleshooting system errors.</li> <li>Overseeing the successful installation of PLC programs.</li> <li>Documenting development processes.</li> <li>Providing clients with technical support.</li> </ul> <p><span class="hidden">6701</span></p>
