<p><strong>DIE CUTTING MACHINE OPERATOR</strong></p><p><strong>SOUTH EAST</strong></p><p><strong>SALARY: &#163;16.50 - &#163;20.00 PER HOUR (Depending on Experience) + Regular Overtime</strong></p><p><strong>HOURS OF WORKING: 37.5HRS A WEEK - DOUBLE DAY SHIFT</strong></p><p>Our client is a manufacturer of high quality printed folded cartons, providing bespoke solutions to a range of market sectors including food, cosmetics, general manufacturing and gift industries etc.</p><p>They are currently looking to recruit a Die Cutting Operator to join their production team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining a Bobst Die Cutting machinery to produce high quality packaging components in line with production specifications and deadlines while ensuring efficient factory operations, maintaining quality standards and supporting production performance.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Set up and operate BOBST die cutting machines to production and packaging specifications</li><li>Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain cutting accuracy and quality</li><li>Carry out die cutting, creasing, embossing and debossing processes to required standards</li><li>Load and unload materials accurately, ensuring correct alignment and cutting precision</li><li>Work with a variety of substrates including paper, folding boxboard and corrugated materials</li><li>Conduct routine machine maintenance &amp; maintain equipment cleanliness to reduce downtime</li><li>Troubleshoot machinery issues and escalate concerns where necessary</li><li>Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and production targets</li><li>Complete quality checks and ensure products meet company and customer standards</li><li>Follow all health, safety and operational procedures at all times</li><li>Support overtime and shift cover requirements when needed</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience operating die cutting and creasing machinery, preferably BOBST equipment</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of die cutting, creasing, embossing and debossing processes</li><li>Experience working with folding cartons, corrugated materials and other packaging substrates</li><li>Ability to set up, adjust and troubleshoot production machinery effectively</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work</li><li>Good understanding of factory safety procedures and quality control processes</li><li>Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production deadlines</li><li>Effective communication and teamwork skills</li><li>Reliable, dependable and safety conscious</li><li>Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement</li><li>Flexible and willing to support operational requirements, including overtime and shift cover</li><li>Positive team player who works collaboratively with colleagues across production</li><li>Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality and performance</li><li>Organised and able to maintain focus in a fast-paced manufacturing environment</li></ul>
