We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to support the delivery of commercial M&E projects across South and West Yorkshire. This role is ideally suited to a qualified electrician who has progressed into a supervisory position, or someone ready to step up into a leadership role.

The Role
You will take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of electrical works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and other trades to maintain programme and quality expectations.

Projects are typically valued between £1M–£3M, covering a range of commercial works. Current live projects include office, school, and apartment developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead site teams and subcontractors
• Coordinate electrical works alongside other trades
• Ensure delivery in line with programme and specifications
• Maintain accurate site records (reports, timesheets, progress updates)
• Monitor labour, materials, and site resources
• Enforce and manage health & safety standards
• Attend site meetings and liaise with stakeholders
• Ensure consistent quality across all installations

Requirements

• Recognised electrical qualifications
• SMSTS preferred (SSSTS considered with strong experience)
• Experience in a supervisory role or a strong electrician looking to step up
• Background in commercial M&E projects
• Strong understanding of site health & safety practices
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Basic IT skills (Excel, Outlook, reporting systems)

Additional Information

• Projects based across South and West Yorkshire
• Very occasional working away (minimal, if any)
• 50-hour working week:
  • 38 hours standard rate
  • Additional hours paid at time and a half
