What you’ll do
Be an ambassador for Timberpak bringing professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm every day.
Engage with colleagues to build a strong safety culture and lead by example.
Provide clear, practical advice on all aspects of health and safety management.
Investigate incidents thoroughly, including serious cases and RIDDOR events, ensuring lessons are learned.
Develop risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and work instructions.
Support behavioural safety programmes and deliver engaging training sessions.
Monitor accident trends, interpret data, and share insights to drive improvement.
Liaise with statutory bodies (HSE, Fire & Rescue, Local Authorities) and support ISO 45001 certification.
Travel to other Timberpak and EGGER sites as needed (with occasional overnight stays).
What we’re looking for
NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent). Strong candidates with a NEBOSH National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety will also be considered.
Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.
Excellent communication skills - you can influence and build trust at all levels.
Ability to plan, prioritise, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
A collaborative mindset and confidence to share ideas.
Full UK driving licence as travel to the other Timberpak locations is a requirement.
(Additional qualifications like Fire Safety or ISO auditing are a bonus, but not essential.)
