Job Description and Responsibilities Join Interpro Pipe and Steel's Regina team as an Accounting Clerk, a key member of the Canadian Finance team and is responsible for supporting accurate financial reporting through the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and inventory reconciliations. The role also supports inventory tracking, cost analysis, and regulatory filings while collaborating with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate financial information. Month-end inventory tracking including reconciling and recording inventory, purchases, consumption, production, shipments Investigation of inventory and account variances Preparing and processing journal entries for monthly production and manufacturing expenses, as well as other income/expenses as applicable Prepare monthly manufacturing costs Prepare bank and General Ledger account reconciliations Miscellaneous billings to vendors Prepare weekly statistical reporting Prepare and file GST/PST returns in accordance with filing deadlines Assist with gathering of information for the external and internal audits, as well as other projects and assignments, as applicable Maintenance and updates of complex spreadsheets Maintain effective working relationships to ensure effective communications with internal departments Requirements A diploma with a major in Finance/Accounting or equivalent Working knowledge and application of word processing and spreadsheet software Strong attention to detail and accuracy Well organized to meet month end timelines and other reporting deadlines Our total compensation package includes amazing benefits!
