<p>Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a growing organization to identify a <strong>Manager, Shared Services Accounting</strong> to support its accounting operations on a temp‑to‑perm basis. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who can step in quickly, provide leadership within a shared services environment, and convert to a permanent role after the initial engagement.</p>
<h4><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Oversee day‑to‑day shared services accounting operations</li>
<li>Manage and support accounting staff within AR, AP, and general accounting functions</li>
<li>Ensure accurate and timely month‑end close activities</li>
<li>Review reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting outputs</li>
<li>Support process improvements and operational efficiencies within the shared services model</li>
<li>Partner cross‑functionally with finance and operational stakeholders</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Qualifications</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)</li>
<li>Prior experience in shared services accounting or a similar centralized accounting environment</li>
<li>Management or team‑lead experience within accounting operations</li>
<li>Strong understanding of general ledger, close processes, and internal controls</li>
<li>Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in Centreville, VA</li>
<li>Comfortable stepping into a hands‑on, interim role with intent to convert</li>
