The Job Role
The experienced Account Manager will drive and sell all market segments for the hotel
Manage a portfolio of accounts to grow business for the hotel and wider group
Generate new business for the Birmingham property via sales activities
This role will be reporting into the hotel General Manager with a dotted line into the DOS
The Account Manager will be the face of the business during client show-rounds, FAM trips as well as representing the hotel & company at trade shows & exhibitions
The Requirements
The Account Manager will have previous experience and proven success in a proactive sales role
Solid track record of securing new business within the MICE & corporate sectors
Knowledge and experience of developing and implementing the sales strategy
Be able to use initiative and have the ability in negotiating rates to secure new business at all times
Local market knowledge required
