Year 4/5 Teacher Leeds

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 4/5 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the LS5 area of Leeds from September 2026. This full-time role offers a competitive daily rate of £180–£200, depending on experience, and includes full teacher responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment, marking, and parental communication. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a mixed Year 4/5 class, delivering engaging lessons and ensuring pupils continue to make strong progress throughout lower and upper Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 4/5 curriculum in line with national expectations.
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, ensuring high standards of attainment.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and independence.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil development.

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 4, Year 5, or mixed-age classes.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate effectively.
• A proactive and organised approach to managing full teaching responsibilities.
