Data Engineer (BI)

What You’ll DoOwn business intelligence at Peec AI end-to-end, turning product, GTM, and customer data into clear, actionable insights for founders and leadership Build and scale Peec’s analytics foundations together with the engineering team - including data pipelines, warehouse architecture, and BI tooling from scratch Design, build, and maintain high-impact dashboards and reporting that track company-level, GTM, and product performance Partner closely with Finance, Sales, Growth, Product, and Data Science to define metrics, answer ad-hoc questions, and support fast, data-driven decisions Continuously improve data quality, metric definitions, and reporting workflows as the company scales What We’re Looking For5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or a closely related data role, ideally in a startup or high-growth tech environment Proven experience translating complex datasets into clear insights that inform product, GTM, and leadership decisions Hands-on experience setting up a BI stack end-to-end (e.g. Tableau, Looker, BigQuery, dbt, or similar) Strong Python or TypeScript and SQL skills with hands-on experience analyzing large datasets and building reliable, scalable reporting Ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders, proactively surfacing insights rather than waiting for requests Most importantly: we care deeply about working with genuinely kind, collaborative, and hard-working people who make the team better through empathy and openness Our BI StackLanguages: SQL, Python, TypeScript Backend: GCP, BigQuery, Postgres (AlloyDB), Firestore AI Models: OpenAI, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Llama, etc. Bonus PointsExperience in an early-stage startup, with a track record of building or scaling analytics from first principles in fast-changing environments Background in supporting GTM teams (Sales, Growth, CX) with funnel, revenue, and cohort analysis Touchpoints in Analytics Engineering (e.g. dbt, data modeling best practices) Experience in a PLG or high-velocity sales motion Prior exposure to AI, ML, or search-driven products What We OfferExciting and challenging work with real impact and ownership at one of Europe’s fastest-growing Series A startups Competitive salary and aggressive equity package Regular team events and off-sites Paid Uber Eats and Uber rides home when working late One of the most beautiful office spaces and work environments in Berlin
